Project Manager on PMI
Management and Direction of the PMI project may be the element that is missing within your own organisation. Using an experienced Project Manager is a highly recommended step toward a successful integration or separation.
If the acquiring or divesting entity has the resources to conduct the Post Merger Integration/Separation project there will still be a massive amount of preparation and planning work to be completed prior to the PMI/S project.
